Gardens Gallery and Souleo Enterprises, LLC, an event/media production company,
present eMerge 2.0: Melvin Van Peebles & Artists on the Cusp. The non-thematic
exhibition features the visual arts debut of renowned
filmmaker, musician, Renaissance man and now visual artist, Melvin Van Peebles
along with pieces from his personal art collection including the late, George
Helton.
In addition the exhibition features eleven emerging and mid-career innovative
and visionary contemporary artists many of whom transform everyday objects into
works of art. Co-curated by Lisa D. Hayes, Esq., Director/Curator of Strivers Gardens
Gallery, and Souleo of Souleo Enterprises, LLC, the exhibit will run from
September 19 through November 7 at Strivers Gardens Gallery in Harlem.
